Wild Hunting at Ten Mile River Preserve

Hunting: Wild Hunting

The 3,200 plus acres of Oak Ridges, topped with cedar swamps and conifer outcropping makes the Ten Mile River Preserve home for abundant Whitetail deer and flocks of Eastern Wild Turkey. When you hunt wild there are no guarantees, but we will do our very best to get you in the proper deer stand or as close to that gobbling turkey as possible. TMRP conforms to the regulated New York State season dates, and either a NYS resident or non-resident license is required.

Whitetail Deer

Our Deer management program allows only Deer that are at least 6 points or better (archery) or 8 points or better (shotgun) with the antlers spread past the ears. We may not be able to guarantee you the biggest or best that our Preserve has to offer, but we can provide you with an environment that offers record-class opportunities, with a commitment to friendly, home-style customer service that is second to none.

Our South Texas Ranch on 5,700 acres offers our members the opportunity to score on some fantastic South Texas Whitetails and Rio Grande Turkey.

Wild Turkey

Spring and Fall Wild turkey are both available here at TMRP and few hunting experiences can rival the excitement as a turkey approaches a hunter. Our experienced guides will give you this feeling!

Goose and Duck

Wild Duck including Mallard, Wood Duck, Green Wing, and Black Duck hunts are quite productive in our hand crafted blinds as well as Canada Geese during the migration period. Small game and predator hunts also available.
