Sporting Clays

With sporting clays being one of the fastest growing Shooting sports in the country, Ten Mile River Preserve offers a World Class 25 station sporting clays course.

Our course includes a combination of challenging targets that can duplicate most wing shooting situations, with each station featuring double traps.

Club cars are provided for use on the course, and our own TMRP designed Trapper stands, gun racks and benches are located at each station. Ammunition is available at the pro-shop if needed. Ear and eye protection is required, and shooters may schedule an instructor to guide them through the course.

Groups may gather at our “Sporting Hut,” an 800 square foot dwelling with kitchen and bathroom facilities which works great as a gathering place for your corporate event to either get your event started, or to meet for lunch and relax a bit before you finish the day.

A computerized Clay target game! With 8 electric traps and 3 levels of difficulty, this game is great for some friendly competition. Located only 75 yards from the main lodge.

“The Gorge”

If high overhead targets are your game, then “The Gorge” is for you! With 4 electric traps on the top of the ridge we can throw high overhead flurry’s, duplicated by no one. These are some of the highest targets thrown in the Northeast.

East Mt. Monsters

This clay target game has 6 electric traps. The target sequence is shot from 4 different positions. Shots range from 30 yards to 85 yards.
